What are the Four Peaks and where did the name come from?
The mountains that make up the Four Peaks are Banded Peak (2,935 m), Outlaw Peak (2,970 m), Mount Cornwall (2,850 m) and Mount Glasgow (2,934 m). These four mountains are part of the skyline that dominates the City of Calgary’s views to the west.
Campbell grew up in the woods of Bragg Creek on his parents acreage which has a million dollar view of these Four Peaks. These mountains were always a dominating figure and reminder of home for Campbell and after returning back to Calgary from a two year stint in the UK he made it his mission to climb all Four Peaks. In the summer of 2019 he completed this goal of approximately 38 km, over 2,000 meters of elevation gained and four summits, all in under 11 hours.
When starting the Four Peaks Corporation in 2020 it was this drive, determination and commitment to achieving his goals that inspired the name for his business. Four Peaks will always maintain Campbell’s drive, determination and commitment to achieving their client’s goals and inspirations!
Campbell has decided to make the challenge of summiting the Four Peaks an annual challenge, so if you are feeling adventurous and would like to join him, contact him here.
